Innovating the dental booking procedure
The Challenge
A start-up founded by two dentists with a vision to build an app to address two main pain points: the time consuming process of booking and attending a dental appointment, and the ability for patients to search for dental appointments at any dental surgery within their vicinity.
To streamline this process the development of two applications was needed, one for dental practices and one for patients. This would allow for a quick, contactless patient journey, minimising the patients time spent in waiting rooms and providing a safe and hygienic service, modernising the existing process.
The Solution
ASquared developed the two products from concept through to launch of two MVPs (Minimum Viable Product) for both dental practices and patients on iOS and Android. Working to brand guidelines, high fidelity designs and user flows were created, followed by rapid iterations of the design and development. The initial beta was market tested and validated before the concept went into further development. The new digital waiting room enables dental practices to manage appointments and check-in patients remotely and contact free all through the app.
