Hybrid, Brighton (Tuesdays and Fridays in the office)

ASquared is a digital product studio based in the heart of Brighton. We partner with ambitious startups, progressive scaleups and values-driven enterprises to create digital products with real-world impact. As a B Corp, we put people and purpose first, both in the way we work and in the work we deliver.

We’re now hiring a Delivery-Focused Senior Project Manager to join our team. This is a key role; you’ll be the one ensuring projects run like clockwork, from brief to build to delivery. It’s a hands-on delivery position, with a firm grasp on timelines, resources and delivery momentum across a wide spectrum of clients.

This person will complement our existing team and work closely with our Product Manager by bringing operational excellence, delivery discipline and a proactive approach to managing capacity and workflow across teams.

This might be the role for you if you:

  • Love delivery: the details, the sequencing, the momentum
  • Know how to run a well-oiled agile project and keep a team unblocked
  • Are process-orientated and enjoy finding and implementing ways to improve team delivery
  • Have strong commercial awareness and understand how to balance scope, budget and timelines
  • Have a healthy bias for action: you know how to keep things moving without over-complicating
  • Are comfortable with technical and design conversations; just enough to challenge or translate as needed
  • Can juggle multiple projects across a range of sectors, from early-stage startups to enterprise clients
  • Have great communication skills with clients, regardless of their digital maturity, and know how to handle tricky conversations proactively and efficiently
  • Understand that internal traffic control and team resourcing are as critical as external comms

What you’ll be doing:

  • 🧭 Leading the end-to-end delivery of digital products (web & mobile) across multiple, concurrent projects
  • 📊 Managing scopes, budgets, timelines and resources, and making sure the right people are working on the right things
  • 📅 Owning weekly resourcing and traffic planning, and helping meet our utilisation rate target
  • 🤝 Running client comms throughout the project lifecycle, proactively managing expectations
  • 🧠 Supporting cross-functional teams of designers, engineers, strategists and testers
  • ⚙️ Maintaining and evolving delivery workflows, documentation and reporting practices
  • 🚦Spotting risks, managing change, and keeping projects on-track and on-time
  • 💡 Feeding into project shaping and early-stage discovery when required

What you’ll bring:

  • 5+ years of project management experience in a digital agency or studio environment
  • Strong experience leading cross-functional teams including UX, design, engineering and QA
  • Familiarity with resource allocation, traffic planning and internal ops
  • Confidence using tools like Jira, Float, Confluence, Notion, Trello and more
  • Working knowledge of agile and hybrid delivery methods
  • Experience across both native mobile and responsive web projects
  • A clear and direct communicator with clients, teammates and stakeholders alike
  • Comfort working across varying project types, budgets and team sizes

Nice to haves

  • Exposure to product thinking, design systems, accessibility and/or software development lifecycles
  • Demonstrable experience working with early-stage startups and founders
  • Ability to embrace ambiguity and shape projects with loose requirements into champions

What’s in it for you:

  • 🟦 Hybrid working (Tuesdays & Fridays in our Brighton office)
  • 🌍 Work remotely from anywhere in the world for up to one month per year
  • 🧘 Access to a variety of wellbeing perks including 24/7 on-demand GP service and mental health therapy
  • 🏖 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (increases over time)
  • 🛠 £500 annual personal development budget
  • 🐶 Dog-friendly office
  • 🗣 Monthly socials, team lunches and networking events
  • 📈 Clear Career Development Framework for project managers
